Graphite on paper

setUSfree

Struggle to sketch the flow that already exist in the mind.

FoiledMan

Composing wild, undisciplined, pure, coming from under, crazier the better.

timeTObare

Work from pithy middle eye out, swimming in the language of the sea.

Sketch Pad

The rehearsal develops our familiarity with our material, subject, and possibilities associated with happy surprises.

The work

There is a narrative, a dialectic that pierces deeply if one paints themselves into their personal search.

The Process

GOD SCHOOL

Poet's starts a poem with a great first line. The artist most always visualizes first, then draws out their parameters and begins to tediously edit out.

The Exhibition

Web and womb

I want a world of men and women and trees that do not talk because there is too much talk in the world as it is, I want to be on rivers that carry you to places, not rivers that are legends but rivers that put you in touch with other men and woman with architecture, religion, plants, animals, rivers that have boats on them where men don’t drown in vain ambition but are absorbed in real-time real action real life and real death.

Poetic Intrusion

What makes up a poet, painter or musician is not just talent but a hunger… and it is a pang of hunger so profound and unkillable that it keeps you going for fifty and sixty years. For a young artist to exist they must be under the assumption that the opposition will mutilate, and humiliate you each step of the way.

Washed soul

It’s the essence of a person that concerns me…. it’s the thing that lives on the shores of your self-conscience , you have to be present for an expression to be made within and then be able to translate into art.
